FROUMANN IS CAPABLE OF CAPTURING PARTICLES UP TO 0.3 MICRONS.

Particles smaller than 10 microns can remain suspended in the air for up to 3 hours.

The size of viruses varies between 0.2 – 3 microns, and the sizes of bacteria vary between 1.5 – 3 microns.

However, bacteria and viruses cannot travel freely in the air. They hang in the air by attaching to the particles in the air and bio-aerosols that spread through the mouth.

For this reason, the size of viruses and bacteria becomes larger than 0.3 micron with the particle they are attached to and can be effectively held by HEPA filters.
